This mandolin has a good bit of cosmetic issues (please see photos above). This mandolin does play quite well. The action is good, and there are not dead spots on the frets. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us! We believe this mandolin is from the 1920's. We believe this is the serial number, but its quite hard to make out. 56792
